Celebrity Sighting: Man VS Wild wearing Breitling Emergency!
Bear Grylls wears a Breitling Emergency watch on his Discovery Channel’s show Man VS. Wild. We have been asked about his wristwatch so much I decided to do a blog about it.
You can usually find Bear anywhere in the world at any given time. From the Everglades to Iceland, Bear shows you how to survive in any environment. I used to have a fear of quicksand and in one of the episodes, Bear shows you how to get out of it. Not that I run into quicksand very often here is Fort Lauderdale, but you never know!
There really is no surprise that Bear is wearing a Breitling. Since you can find him anyplace in the world, he would have to have a wristwatch with many functions and amazing durability. The Breitling Emergency also has a unique feature that you will not find anywhere else. The Breitling Emergency has a feature that if Bear is in a life threatening situation he can activate a GPS emergency signal that will send help to him anywhere in the world! This feature has saved the lives quite a few pilots and adventurers to date. Very cool! Just don’t do it by accident, we hear there is a $10,000 fine if you activate the Breitling Emergency transmitter when you are not in a life or death situation.
So, if you are one of those guys (or gals) who is more on the adventurous side, this might be the watch for you.

Too cool! Now Bear & I have one more thing in common (I have one of these amazing watches, too and yes, I bought it from Anthony at JR Dunn). Don’t mock me — yeah, I’m a survivalist, too. I once spent FOUR DAYS in Vegas in a room at the Hilton Without a mini-bar.

What are the other bracelets he wears? They look like magnet/ion bracelets.
