Bollywood shows off Diamond encrusted Tennis Ball
Diamond Encrusted Tennis Ball: For all you diamond & tennis fans out there, there is now something that can encompass both of your passions! A retail group in India, Gitanjali Gems , has signed a three year licensing agreement to develop and market jewelry under the Wimbledon brand and their first piece is a diamond encrusted tennis ball. The ball is made of 24 carat white gold and and fully paved with diamonds.
The tennis ball valued at Rs 35 lakhs (we are still trying to figure out exactly how much that is in US dollars ) was unveiled by Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta.
Eventually the blinged out tennis ball is to be presented to winner of the men’s Wimbledon champion of 2007, Roger Federer.
