Carrie Bradshaw’s Pearls | Mikimoto Long Pearl Strands in Sex and the City
Having just returned from the 2008 JCK Vegas jewelry show I can tell you that pearls were hot but they are about to get even hotter. How do I know this? Well my wife and her girlfriends went to see the Sex and the City movie last night and when she got home she couldn’t stop talking about how great Carrie’s long strand of pearls looked.
After doing a little research, I found out from my friends over at National Jeweler that Carrie was wearing a long pearl necklace by none other than Mikimoto! Remember way back when Carrie wore the diamond horseshoe?

Yes, but what length were they? I don’t think they were 22″ – they look closer to 30″ because they very nearly reach the top of her belt on pg. 37 of the book “Sex and the City – The Movie.” Also, what size are they? I would hazard a guess that they are 10mm. I’d really like to know. Hope you can find the answer! I’ve looked everywhere.
