Chopard’s Chopardissimo ring is my hot holiday pick of the day.…and I am truly in LOVE! When I saw this ring come into our store I actually gasped! Not only is it in my new favorite gold color, rose gold, but it is Chopard…which says it all, this ring is simple and chic with diamonds. Amazing!

Harry Winston is offering a reward for the return of jewelry stolen in an armed robbery earlier this month in Paris. On October 6th, three people entered the store and stole four watches, two pairs of earrings and three rings. The reward for the jewelry is more than $500,000.00 according to Idex.com.
The robbery is the largest jewelry theft since a 2004 jewelry heist on the Louvre Museum grounds during an antique show where two Chopard diamonds were stolen with a value of over 11.5 million euros (16.3 million US).

Stacking Bangles is hot but I have to admit I’m not crazy about the latest twist on this trend! I was reading Cynthia Sliwa’s post over on JCKonline.com where she cited a October 2007 Glamour magazine article where they suggested spicing up your wristwatch with a couple of bangle bracelets. The star studded Chopard sponsored event took place on Tuesday Evening at the Waldorf Astoria under heavy security. According to the NYDailyNews.com, the event to fight AIDS took place at the same time as President Bush was staying at the hotel. As Ozzy & Sharon Osbourne made their way past the police and the bomb sniffing dogs at the Waldorf, a member of the security team asked “Are you here to see the President?” to which Sharon answered “No, we are here to see the Queen”. According to Daily Star news she got him a Mille Miglia GT XL Chronograph fully blinged out with a diamond encrusted dial. It’s a one of a kind watch with a price tag of about $65,000.00. Prince Charles and Sir Elton John also have custom diamond Chopard wristwatches.

After Andy Baldwin and Tessa Horst called off their engagement the couple may have to return their Chopard engagement ring to ABC. Apparently, it was in the contract, that if things didn’t work out the engagement ring valued at $50,000 would have to be returned! Andy Baldwin, the star of the reality show “The Batchelor: Officer and a Gentleman”, told In touch magazine “Tessa and I love each other, but neither one of us is ready to get married, even if the engagement ring was the Hope diamond”.
