NEW 2008 CORUM COLLECTIONS | Romvlvs, Admirals Cup, Golden Brigde
Talk about a brand that is really coming into its own groove! Word has it that this year’s Corum Collection for 2008 will be even more focused than ever. Yes, there will always be the perennial classics like the Coin Watch, but to get an idea of where this company is headed look out for the refinement and evolution of collections like the Admirals Cup, Golden Bridge and now, the Romulus (or if you can pronounce Romvlvs) . Corum is very serious about catapulting to the top and taking its position alongside the true elite brands. They have made some serious headway with heavy investments into the development of new movements in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture. The end goal is to combine the highest degree of technology and quality of with the creative dynamics of Montres Corum to produce a wristwatch second to none.

Sometimes bigger is better…or at least more desirable according to an article in Newsweek this month. Women are starting to embrace larger timepieces then the classically smaller wristwatches from the past. One of the watch companies embracing this is Corum. They have the Classical Billionaire Tourbillon that measures 46mm (pictured here). Who wouldn’t want this watch! And, the trend just seems to be getting larger, even to the point of taking up the whole wrist. Quite a few watch designers are listening and making changes accordingly.
