Hey guys let’s face it, you really dig her but you are not ready to tie the knot just yet. You want to show her your serious with a piece of jewelry but you don’t want her to think it’s an engagement ring. We’ll here are some helpful tips to avoid what could be a roller coaster of emotions for both of you.

Our world is stressful enough as it is without you sending your man out to the big bad jewelry store for a jewelry gift for you, and you telling him…”just get anything”. These pearl care suggestions are from Yvel and we thought we would pass them on to you since this is a question we get asked all the time. We are fortunate to represent Yvel pearls as well as Mikimoto, and when people invest their hard earned money on top quality pearls they want to take care of them. After being in the watch and jewelry industry for more than 25 years, I wanted to pass on some of my wisdom and dispel some of the below listed mis-truths that I have heard people say over the years.
1. MYTH - To shake an automatic watch, while on your wrist, is all you need to do to keep it fully wound.
When you wear the watch during normal activity, this helps the watch maintain optimum power reserve.
