Hey guys I found a great blog (The Art of the Stack) on Modern Jeweler’s website that shows some amazing photos from the 2007 MTV VMA’s! We did a Celebrity jewelry sighting post the other day telling you what everyone, who is anyone, was wearing. But talking about it and actually seeing the jewelry on Beyonce, Ashanti and Mary J. Diamond Encrusted Tennis Ball: For all you diamond & tennis fans out there, there is now something that can encompass both of your passions! A retail group in India, Gitanjali Gems , has signed a three year licensing agreement to develop and market jewelry under the Wimbledon brand and their first piece is a diamond encrusted tennis ball. The ball is made of 24 carat white gold and and fully paved with diamonds.

The tennis ball valued at Rs 35 lakhs (we are still trying to figure out exactly how much that is in US dollars ) was unveiled by Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta.

David Beckham got a diamond Chopard watch from wife Victoria (Posh Spice) for his first goal with the LA Galaxy soccer team! According to Daily Star news she got him a Mille Miglia GT XL Chronograph fully blinged out with a diamond encrusted dial. It’s a one of a kind watch with a price tag of about $65,000.00. Prince Charles and Sir Elton John also have custom diamond Chopard wristwatches.

The watch shown here is the basic model of Chopard XL Chronograph in stainless steel with signature tire tread rubber strap. We think it’s one of the hottest watches in the world right now just the way it is! What do you think?

Mattioli Samarcanda Necklace and Bracelet is our hot pick for the day. And to be perfectly honest, this collection did not wow me when it first came in and I just saw it laying in our cases. However, when I saw it on one the owners I was FLOORED ! Mrs. Dunn modeled this gorgeous necklace at one of the many charity events our company is involved in. This designer’s creations really come alive as soon as you put them on!

I could not do just do the gold and diamond necklace without the bracelet! They just look so great together! These pieces are from the Italian jewelry designer Mattioli from his Samarcanda collection. Since 1970 Mattioli has perfected the fusion of passion and ultra-sophisticated Italian style.
