As you may know, we are now carrying the Tacori collection in our stores and the brand is really wonderful. I had always seen the advertisements in all the magazines, but had never seen one of the rings in person. They are gorgeous!

Being in the heart of the wedding season, I wanted to showcase some VERY chic wedding bands created by Scott Kay. Scott has been on the cutting edge in the bridal industry since his start in 1984. He is best known for revitalizing the use of Platinum in fine jewelry. Scott Kay’s designs range from classic to innovative and always chic, just like the wedding bands shown here.

The reason I love these bands is the fact that the matching gents band has diamond accents without being over done. A lot of men are starting to realize that wearing diamonds is not just for the ladies.

Hello Everyone….we have been using a lot of adjectives in describing the hot look in the jewelry industry lately, however big, bold and beautiful is an understatement when it comes to this striking cocktail ring. In the late nineties we had a diamond cutting demonstration in our showroom courtesy of Lazare Kaplan. I can remember the moment like it was yesterday when the master cutter cleaved a rough diamond right in front of 50 of our best client’s eyes. Before the ceremony, we all got to hold the rough octahedral crystal and experience its’ raw beauty and luster first hand. We were so taken by it that my family and I purchased a rough diamond to display permanently in our showcase. Over the years we have watched our clients’ fascination when we tell them that’s what a diamond looks like in its’ raw state.

It’s this fascination that inspired us to forge a partnership with Diamond in the Rough this year at the JCK Jewelry show in Las Vegas. This avant-garde jewelry collection features natural diamonds in their uncut state accented by smalled polished diamonds.
